Cantaloupe Margarita

Cantaloupe Margarita

It's Pool Time, Yes! I wanted to make a super refreshing drink for my friend's Dad's 60th Birthday celebration beside the pool, and this hit the nail on the head.  Feel free to switch out any of the fruits (like in my: Watermelon Margarita) and make it your own.

Ingredients:
1 cantaloupe, cut into cubes 1/2 cup lime juice3 tablespoons triple sec3/4 cup white tequila

Directions:
Blend cantaloupe, lime juice, Cointreau, and tequila until very smooth. (I used the food processor since I don't have a large blender.)

Serve immediately or refrigerate in a sealed pitcher for up to three hours if desired.

When ready to serve, fill 3 serving glasses with ice, divide margarita mixture among glasses, and garnish each glass with salt, a piece of cantaloupe, and mint (all optional.)
