Oven Roasted Green Beans

Oven Roasted Green Beans

Organic Green Beans from:
Backyard Produce
When I asked a few friends what their favorite way to have green beans was, I heard: casserole, sauteed, steamed, and more. No one replied with oven roasting, which turned out to be an amazing dish. This is an easy side that you can throw in the oven and put along any meal.  You don't have to worry about them while you prepare your other dishes on the stovetop. These beans are healthy and delicious- a must make!

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

A lot of people don't realize to keep this cute and delicious
tip on the bean, Just break off or cut stemmed end.
Place green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.  Add 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, and any other seasoning you enjoy.

Toss beans to evenly coat each bean.

Roast, stirring halfway until crisp-tender. (about 12-15 minutes.)

Splash with the juice of 1/2 lemon when taking it out of the oven and serve alongside another dish.

My final dinner plate:
Served with baked crab cake I put in the oven with the beans :-)
