Roasted Broccolini (or Broccolette)

Oven Roasted Broccolini 


This vegetable is a cross between broccoli and a Chinese kale.  Sometimes it's also called broccolette.  I really like that the stalks are more tender and great to eat (without peeling.) 

This recipe is so easy and I cooked the chicken sausage right alongside it. I highly recommend this for an easy weeknight meal. 


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. 
(Set it a little lower if you like your veggies less crisp and more tender.) 


Toss broccolini with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp minced garlic, 1 tsp Italian Seasoning, salt and pepper. 
Toss until coated evenly. 



Roast in oven for about 20-30 minutes until vegetables have tender stalks and crispy florets. 


I roasted this All Natural Trader Joe's Chicken Sausage at the same time and served together. 


Scrumptious and healthy!
