Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

Bacon Cheeseburger Dip

Tailgate season is still going strong (and my Clemson Tigers are #1 in the nation!)  This dish is always a crowd please, especially for your meat-loving guests!

Ingredients
·     1 lb ground beef
·     1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
·     6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
·     8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
·     1/2 cup mayonnaise
·     1 cup mozzarella, shredded
·     1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
·     2 tablespoon ketchup
·     Slice hamburger toppings such as tomatoes and lettuce (optional)
·     Chips or french bread slices for serving.

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cook the ground beef and Worcestershire in a pan; drain grease.

Mix the ground beef, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Worcestershire and ketchup.

Spread into a 9x9 baking dish.

Combine and top with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.

Place in oven for 10-20 minutes (depending on your bacon temperature, already hot or from the fridge.)

Top with crumbled bacon and bake until lightly golden brown and bubbling, about 20-30 minutes total.

(Optional) Top with chopped tomatoes, lettuce (or anything you like on your burgers!)  - I just added tomatoes because I don't like lettuce on my burgers or when it gets warm/soft.

Serve warm with slices of french bread (toasted or not) and tortilla chips.

(Note: to make in a slow cooker, combine all ingredients after cooking ground beef. Heat on low for 2-4 hours (or high for 1-2 hours) stirring until melted through.)
