Halloween Food Fun 2013
Themed foods are
always my favorite opportunities to take basic recipes and make them more
creative or aligned to a theme. Halloween is the perfect opportunity to
do that!
Menu included: Monster Eyeballs, Mummified Hot Dogs, Frankenstein Toes, Mummy Pizzas, Booger Dip.
I love the skeleton hand stealing some food. |

Monster Eyeballs
These are easy sausage balls to make, and adding the spanish olives to create the eyes.

Sausage Ball Basics |
Wrap the hotdogs in crescent rolls and bake until crescents are cooked. Add eyeballs by squeezing mustard on them after they come out of the oven.
Frankenstein Toes
Wrap little smokies in slices of tortillas. Remove part of the smokie to make a slot for the 'toe.' Bake until warmed through and tortillas crispy.
Top nails with mustard or ketchup.
Mummy Pizzas
Using mini bagels (I like the whole wheat ones), add pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced olives for eyes. Bake at 350 for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bottoms are crispy.
