Boudin Sourdough Bakery in San Francisco
While I was in San Francisco, the foodie in me was so excited to tour this sourdough factory. They had some creative 'bread art', and lots of historical facts about this product and San Francisco. It was definitely worth the $3 for the self-guided tour, which also included a sampling of the bread. I would recommend a stop by here on your way to Fisherman's Wharf!
I love how my selfie included the crab bread and picture of Golden Gate Bridge picture. |

These 10 foods were San Francisco originals. The friends I was visiting and I couldn't remember what all the pics were, but they included: Sourdough bread, Martini, Chinese Takeout, Mai Tai, the Popsicle, Fortune Cookie, and Irish Coffee. Such a wonderful food city!

Another unique feature of this factory and the store is the traveling baskets. The baked bread is placed into the baskets, then it travels overhead to the store, where it's for purchase. Fresh and warm!
My Favorite Part? The Bread Animals!!!!
